Pole Dance Studio of the Year - 2010
Pole dancing is one of the fastest growing fitness disciplines for men and women across the globe. With its success, grows a need to acknowledge the studios that provide services of the highest standards in terms of safety, instructor qualifications and studio conditions. More than simply promote the best pole dance schools, the IPDFA (International Pole Dance Fitness Association) hopes to encourage and inspire global best practices and ever-increasing diversity among practitioners as well as the studios worldwide that train and support them.
Further, the IPDFA shall centralize and standardize information from studios to allow the global community of students and practitioners to observe the total development of the sport. To this end, the IPDFA each month will spotlight one studio or school and also one individual who has worked especially to advance the standards or art form of pole dancing, or otherwise promoted pole dance fitness within their region. At the annual International Pole Dance Fitness Championship event, the IPDFA will announce the Pole Dance Studio of the Year and the Pole Dance Instructor of the Year.
The Pole Dance Instructor of the Year can be anyone who has taken an initiative and made pole dance fitness a better sport for everyone. He/she can be an instructor or activist who displays a strong passion for the sport and has made a big effort to widen popularity or open minds toward pole dance fitness.
You can be part of this project – if you are a student, pole dance fitness instructor or studio owner and know of top quality studios and practices, you can provide us with information by filling in the form. The more information we receive about pole dance fitness studios and the people who are promoting the sport/dance form, the better pole dance fitness will become.
